Innovation Waste Material
During this project I was challenged to find innovative ways to breathe new life into waste materials from the design sector. The envelopes were created from discarded wallpaper. By layering a curated selection of deadstock fabrics I created a textile which is meant to be worn out and broken down through rigorous use. By combining these textile swatches with laser cut frames based off of iconic furniture designs I inspired viewers to really take a look and get a feel for the fabric and design options in a hands on way.
